July 4[edit]

When is Jean Claude Van Damme appearing for his last bout ( Kick-Boxing )?[edit]

There has been postings on Wikipedia that it has already been held on March and also yet to be held in November which is quite confusing... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kayina (talkcontribs) 14:35, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Song I heard on the radio[edit]

I heard a song yesterday on the radio, the began with the lyrics "Shadow's grow long, before my eyes". Can anyone tell me who recorded the song, and what it's called? Thanks Jds500 (talk) 14:52, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A quick google for "shadows grow long before my eyes" give hits for many versions of the song Baby, I Love Your Way. Nanonic (talk) 15:07, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Chances are you heard the live version from Frampton Comes Alive, so be aware of that. Aaronite (talk) 17:24, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who is this person[edit]

Hi. Who is the woman sitting above Charlize Theron in yesterday's match between Germany and Argentina ? See picture here : http://i46.tinypic.com/ev5ppv.jpg —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.250.31.56 (talk) 14:55, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Considering the occasion, might it be the Head of State of one of the two participating nations? Sussexonian (talk) 21:46, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Don't know but the guy next to her doesn't really blend in. If he were a spy, he'd suck at his job! Dismas|(talk) 21:47, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's obviously not Angela Merkel or Christina Kirchner, although it does look sort of like Kirchner's daughter Florencia. (But that's just a guess based on what Sussexonian said. Maybe it's just some random person.) Adam Bishop (talk) 23:15, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the world is divided into two types of people: (a) celebrities, and (b) random people. The Randoms far outnumber the Celebrities, yet for some reason we Randoms always choose Celebrities to rule us. Or if they're not Celebrities when they achieve rulership, they have to be prepared to become so very quickly. One day I'm moving to a country where the head of government/state is someone that nobody there, or anywhere else, has ever heard of, apart from their immediate family and close friends and work colleagues. Then we'll really have Random Rules. -- 202.142.129.66 (talk) 01:51, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Here in the U.S. we occasionally elect those kinds of folks to public office. Typically it doesn't work out. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:01, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Alvin Greene hasn't been elected yet... --Anonymous, 04:20 UTC, July 5, 2010.

Late 90's Fire Kills Public Information Film[edit]

I've been racking my brain to remember this, basically, it was an old Public information film (PIF) I was afraid of when I was little. It was about a balding bloke chasing various dangers of fire out of his house, and all the while the 'fire' is giggling creepily. It was filmed in black and white apart from the fire sources, that were red. Please help, and don't bother posting any American Public service announcements, because I am English and will not have seen them.--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 20:13, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

After a bit of searching, I'm going to say this sounds like Don't Give Fire A Chance. --OnoremDil 04:35, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And in case you didn't want to do your own search on YouTube, here ya go. Dismas|(talk) 06:05, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
