April 10[edit]

What could it have been ?[edit]

Either some time in the 1980's or as late as the early nineties, I saw an ad on TV for a based on true events crime story, and I cannot recall the name of the picture, nor the events it was portraying. The commercial shows a man holding up a rifle to aim it, and in the very next cut, a cute little blonde girl about four, dressed I think in a red jersey, who is crying and holds up her hands to cover her face, as if he is aiming the gun at her, but one knows that they re edit trailers to give certain impressions of what may be in the film. It seemed to be American or Canadian, and one along the lines of ( but not ) At Close Range, Helter Skelter, Boys Don't Cry, or another I saw in the eighties about two murderous brothers and the younger brother's sons, and went on killing sprees in camp grounds in the sixties or seventies. The movie I am after may have been set in the seventies. I cannot recall who was in it, or anything other than this one ad. Any ideas ? Thank You. Sigourney Weaver - in exactly how many episodes of Somerset ?[edit]

Her appearance was only during 1976, but

  • IMDB does not give exact numbers.
  • here are the 1976 plots ... but just counting "Avis" might not give the right result.
  • Does anybody have access to this book, p. 265 ff. ..?
