Since a Loan Shark's fingerprints were on the Money for Luiz Cruz, did Jack McCoy even consider the Possibility that Dobson asked Loan Shark to pay Luiz to kill Dobson's 2nd wife?(73.48.225.235 (talk) 07:26, 20 July 2014 (UTC)).[reply]

He considered exactly what the script writers told him to consider. He's a fictional character, and we cannot interview him after the fact to learn what he was thinking, because he doesn't think. --Jayron32 19:30, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But we can say whether he says anything like that in the episode, or point out content in the episode that explains why he might not have considered it. --50.100.189.160 (talk) 19:33, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe this recap will help. If not, I have no idea. InedibleHulk (talk) 20:22, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Since the Money only has Giabone's fingerprints, Isn't it Possible that Dobson asked Giabone to use his own Money to pay Cruz to kill Emily? (73.48.225.235 (talk) 17:07, 22 July 2014 (UTC)).[reply]

This board is not for speculative questions about what fictional characters might have been thinking. We can redirect you to summaries of the episode to let you draw your own conclusion, but you've clearly seen the episode, and so have more information that we can provide you. This is not a chat forum, it is a reference desk. Ian.thomson (talk) 17:11, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a Racist. I know that Giabone had Nothing to do with Emily's murder, but I'm just asking you People for your Opinion about this Episode. In your Opinion, please tell me: [Since the Money only has Giabone's fingerprints, wouldn't You consider the Possibility that Dobson asked Giabone to pay Cruz to kill Emily? Would it also make Sense that Dobson asked Giabone to pay Cruz to kill Emily?] (73.48.225.235 (talk) 18:49, 22 July 2014 (UTC)).[reply]

pawnography[edit]

What does the pawnshop stand to gain by giving valuable items to the game show? Jim

Marketing (for the pawn shop and show itself) and advertising revenue (from advertisers who show commercials during the show). You can know that they aren't losing money, so the assumption you should make is "I know they are making money on this. What are they making money on". The average price of a 30 second ad is $122,734 as of 2013 [1]. Since there are 8 minutes of ads per 30 minute TV show, that gives about 2 million dollars of advertising revenue per show. Not bad for putting up $20-30,000 worth of antiques for contestants to win, which, from the shows I have seen, more than half of which don't get won. Even if every show featured every prize won, that would be a 100x return on investment. Not to frigging bad, if you ask me... --Jayron32 19:27, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
