Little Rascals - Take him for a ride[edit]

Hi! When I was a real little girl, probably around 3, I saw a Little Rascals episode that I have always remembered. The kids went up against some kind of rival gang. Their gang boss was secretive and hid from view during most of the episode. When one of the rascals infiltrated the rival gang club house, he was captured and the head gang leader said "Take him...for a ride..." and they took him off on a bicycle. It ended with the rival gang leader getting trapped by a trick box after he pried the lock with a can opener. Does anyone else remember this???? -KTcup82 (talk) 05:14, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are you talking about the original black and white series from the 1930s, also known as Our Gang, or the 1982 animated series? I'm going to assume the latter, in which case there's a list of episodes with plot summaries here that might jog your memory. None of those plot summaries jumps out at me as being the episode you describe, but they're very brief, so who knows. --Viennese Waltz 07:08, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The competing bully in Our Gang was usually Butch. He was a main character from 1938 to 1940 in the MGM talkies. You can search the plots easily using the list of movie releases: Our Gang filmography. I have a feeling that it isn't Butch. It is likely Going to Press. 209.149.113.5 (talk) 13:34, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
OMG! It was Going to Press! -KTcup82 (talk) 00:12, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2 movies about evil guardians[edit]

A Movie — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lindertus (talkcontribs) 16:16, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You really do need to actually ask a question, to give the volunteers here even a remote chance of giving you whatever it is you want. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 00:16, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Movies involving wards and guardians where the guardian tries to kill the ward(s)[edit]

First one: One guardian is stealing his ward's money and tries to kill him. Second one: A couple (guardians) set out to try kill their wards (a brother and sister). From John Lindert 7/6/2018Lindertus (talk) 16:32, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This would be easier to figure out if you had some sense of when they might have come out or the language / country of origin. I'll throw out Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, though it doesn't precisely match the second film you're looking for, it sounds close. We have a category for films about orphans which might also help. It's here. Matt Deres (talk) 17:55, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

FIFA Fair Play points[edit]

Q1 If a manager or member of coaching staff get sent off does it go on the FIFA Fair Play points?

Q2 If a player in the bench gets booked or sent off does it go on the FIFA Fair Play points?

I don't believe coaches or managers can receive yellow or red cards at the World Cup. They may be asked to leave, but even if a card is used this isn't actually red carding the coach (and I doubt a referee at the world cup would use a card anyway). [1] Therefore the answer for the manager and coaches is no. In any case the rules specifically mention 'player' for the group stages [2]. For a player on the bench, I think the answer must be yes if they are carded based on the rules as there is no suggestion the player must be currently playing although they would need to be eligible for a card. (As with coaches and managers, I believe they have to actually be substitutes on the bench, not other players who aren't part of the match [3].) Nil Einne (talk) 12:42, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Number of penalty cards the deciding factor? Come on... Professional foul gets you 5 or even 6 if you've been booked beforehand, yet the same team could halt a dangerous attack themselves over an opponent writhing in pain. I kid you not, it would be much better to playoff via FIFA on PS4. You choose a representative out of 23-strong squad to square off versus the representative of the tying team. The best option would be PES, but using that game would bring FIFA into disrepute.
P.S. Managers and staff are dismissed without red-carding. That's a good point too, a massive hole in laws. And what's with referee telling the manager off? Isn't that worthy of at least a yellow? 93.140.169.81 (talk) 16:42, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
OK thanks. [4] didn't upload for me. Must not have enough memory for the PDF file.(Mobile mundo (talk) 23:07, 8 July 2018 (UTC))[reply]
Actually the URL no longer works for me, the FIFA site seems to be having problems. Perhaps this Google cache [5] which works for me will work for you. In any case, the relevant section is duplicated here [6] Nil Einne (talk) 09:00, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
