TV movie from 1980s about alien spaceship prison guard[edit]

I am sure somebody will probably know the name of this since it was very prolific on TV during the 1980s, and was shown about five or six times across the various networks. It was a two part mini-series that starts on an alien prison ship. There is this British accent woman who is a guard and in the ship, in special containment, is a horrible creature who can take over minds. The creature escapes, the crew is killed, and she somehow gets to Earth. She hooks up with this man, and at some point there is a cute scene where she explains that she will only sleep naked but then puts on a t-shirt before his friend comes over and he says she is his cousin. The two of them track down the alien creature and somehow wind up back on the now abandoned ship, which they then crash into the ocean. I remember the movie vividly but not the name. it came out at about the time as Earth Star Voyager which I also loved! -KTcup82 (talk) 23:06, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
