Don Rickles entrance song?[edit]

Hi all, is this an actual song [1] (24 second mark) that Don Rickles makes his intro to, the only comment is that it is generic bull fighting music. Any and all help would be appreciated! 2600:1702:690:F7A0:D575:5820:F035:8882 (talk) 00:01, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's called "La Virgen de la Macarena".[2] On the TJB's second album, Volume 2 (Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass album), it was called "The Great Manolete".[3] Macarena is a neighborhood of Seville, Spain, and is the origin of the Virgin of Hope of Macarena. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 00:24, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What's the meaning of gun fire in Women's madison?[edit]

When I watching finals of Cycling at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's Madison, referee fired a gun in middle of the match. What's the meaning of it? Rizosome (talk) 04:19, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That came at around the 13:20 mark of this YouTube video and signified a pause (along with a yellow flag, so why the gun?) because the Polish rider had been sent tumbling to the ground by contact with the Dutch rider (Nigel Powers would say, "I told you so.") and her face run over by the Chinese cyclist behind her, who also crashed.
