Nathan Fillion Civilian Pavilion[edit]
It says here that in celebration of an upcoming movie, Edmonton will temporarily rename its city hall to be the Nathan Fillion Civilian Pavilion. Okay, fine, I know Fillion is from Edmonton, but what's with the "civilian pavilion" part of the name? I mean, what's in the movie that this is a reference to? --184.144.99.72 (talk)

- For example, the reference could actually be to an earlier appearance of the character in another movie, a comic book, or a video game; or to some other Nathan Fillion character. - Civilian comes from the same root as city, and you could use pavilion to mean hall in this context. So "Civilian pavilion" = "city hall". DuncanHill (talk) 02:31, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

- This is gonna be tricky. Leone was known for using actors from all over Europe as well as casting people who weren't actors at all but had just the right look that he wanted for the part. This scene is from relatively early in the film (though after the long intro segment of which Woody Strode jokingly said "Leone gave me more closeups than all the rest of my films put together") so I've searched the cast lists that tend to put the names in order of appearance. The one that seems to fit is Livio Andronico, unfortunately this is his only film and google pictures shows an ancient Roman but not this person. I've searched for pictures of other cast members and the one person whose picture looks a bit like the man from the film is Conrado San Martin. His character's name is Vincenzo so you might re-watch that part of the film and see if that name is used. It's not just me but he does look like Diffring doesn't he? @MarnetteD: The opening sequence, up to "You brought two too many" and finishing on the squeak of the windpump works as a film in itself.
