July 31[edit]

Lone female vocal with her chorus being la-la-la-lalala la la la (or na na etc.)[edit]

Hi all, this song is addictive. It is very soft almost (but not exactly) a whisper. Song can't be more than 15 years old (probably just a few years old) of a soft female vocal with the same tune for the words and the chorus (as mentioned la-la or na-na). I have heard it in grocery stores and department stores but none of the associates seem to know what it is and the Musiak advances before they can check the song title in the office :-(. Please help, any suggestions would be appreciated. 2600:1702:690:F7A0:6458:5F51:9887:9404 (talk) 04:08, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's not much to go on (I can think of numerous songs containing la-la-la phrases), but I find Musipedia is very useful for that sort of question.--Shantavira|feed me 08:01, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Is it Around the World by A Touch of Class? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRvGZffXhfk --Khajidha (talk) 13:10, 31 July 2021 (UTC) Although that was from 2000, so older than your estimate. --Khajidha (talk) 13:15, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't there a website where you can record your own voice? The OP could hum or whistle the tune and then maybe someone could place it. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 21:38, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Could it be this song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O1_3zBUKM8&ab_channel=NaughtyBoyVEVO --87.3.51.116 (talk) 09:30, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OP here, thank you all for your help, suggestions and links. I will try them having some mic issues lately. Will update but no not those two songs unfortunately. Any other tips would be very much appreciated!2600:1702:690:F7A0:4123:428:4D10:B263 (talk) 01:21, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Wild guess here, but maybe it is Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega? The chorus is "do-do-do-do" rather than "la-la-la-la" but still consists of nonlexical vocables. --Jayron32 11:56, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Help find references about Suhani Shah[edit]

This is about Indian magician Suhani Shah. It is cited to reliable source that she entered in Guiness world records as youngest magician in 1997. Is there a way to verify this using real guiness book entry. Although citation is enough for article but still for curiosity.; Second citation(this from secondary source) I need is one which states that she was youngest dignitary at Youtube India launch. This line was mentioned unsourced in the article 6 years ago when it got deleted, and I think her presence at launch can be truth but help me verify. -- Parnaval (talk) 08:23, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
