June 6[edit]

Look at what is written above the logo. I'm pretty sure it's vandalism. 2402:800:61CD:7D30:397A:681C:5EB:DA3C (talk) 00:52, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted it, thanks. RudolfRed (talk) 01:06, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pitch dial or wheel on synthesizers[edit]

I'm looking for the name of a rather standard component on a synthesizer, but 30 minutes of Wikipedia and Google make it seem like nobody even knows that it exists. It's this round dial or wheel that you can use to control the pitch of a sound, like a wah-wah pedal, only that you control it with your hand and it keeps snapping right back into place, as if there's something like rubberbands on the inside keeping it in place. --2003:DA:CF39:B879:74BB:88F3:4A2B:67D5 (talk) 07:49, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd call it a pitch-bend wheel, but there are other names. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 08:14, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Our stub article calls it a Pitch wheel, there is often a Modulation wheel beside it which can vary vibrato etc. MinorProphet (talk) 21:39, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
