Identify map projection in NASA eclipse atlas[edit]

Miller cylindrical projection?

Can anyone tell

  1. What map projection is used in this image (original at http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEatlas/SEatlas.html ), and
  2. What the latitude of the top edge of the map is?

It looks like a Miller projection, and the mapping from y pixel coordinate to latitude is , putting the top and bottom at about ±85°. -- BenRG (talk) 18:31, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
