Types of Measurement[edit]

What are all the types of measurement? I know distance and weight. UnbeatableFlame154 (talk) 01:14, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The most comprehensive answer has to be Category:Measurement. Do you want to narrow the question? —Tamfang (talk) 16:30, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The number of possible answers is huge. If you go to this web site and read through the alphabetical pages of units, you will find units of measure for lots of things. Just looking down a few screenfuls of its D page, I see units for nutrition, distance, volume, mass, weight, force, lunar-eclipse darkness, electrical elastance, permeability, rate of evolution, time, sound intensity, electronic signal strength, the gain of an antenna, power, radar reflectivity, and electric dipole moment. You may argue that those are not all different things, but still, you get the idea of how big the full answer would be. --69.159.62.113 (talk) 04:34, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You might be interested in our article on Dimensional analysis which explains how all the other units can be expressed in terms of length (L), mass (M), time (T), electric current (I), absolute temperature (Θ), amount of substance (N) and luminous intensity (J).
