December 7[edit]

conservation status of plants[edit]

Why do some entries for plants include conservation status and others do not?

It is solely due to discretion of editors. Ruslik_Zero 20:49, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Because we are not yet perfect? Feel free to add it where you can. HiLo48 (talk) 20:51, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would expect most plants are so plentiful that nobody has bothered to state the obvious fact that they are not endangered. Thus by the rules of Wikipedia we cannot comment due to lack of reliable sources. 85.76.45.42 (talk) 19:24, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Most likely the case. But scientists should try to investigate the status of as many as they can. The story of the turnspit dog is particularly unsettling. 93.136.71.134 (talk) 21:43, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The standard dandelion, for example, is probably not going extinct anytime soon. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 00:45, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
