Scientific Name Validity[edit]

I am trying to determine whether Lissachatina fulica or Achatina fulica is the current scientific name. The Wikispecies page shows Achatina fulica, while the Catalogue of Life page has Lissachatina fulica. Which is correct, and what source would provide the most credible and accurate answer?167.95.98.15 (talk) 13:49, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lissachatina fulica is more likely to be valid. On 15 June 2021 a user moved the en.Wiki article there, with note "accepted name". This is probably because molluscabase has it as accepted. Abductive (reasoning) 18:22, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Achatina fulica Bowdich, 1822 (superseded combination)
