I am attempting to define Private Signal which is lacking here Swallowtail_(flag)

Sailmore2000 (talk) 01:01, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have shown notability well, and your references seem pretty good. You have already added categories, so the usual mistakes have been avoided. If you have an example (image) of a private signal, that would improve the article greatly. You might consider merging to Maritime flag signalling, but I think this is independently notable. Be sure to expand a bit more; you can nominate it for Did You Know? if it is more than 1500 characters. If you feel uncomfortable nominating it, let me know and I will do that for you. This is my first article-- any guidance appreciated!

Psy463 1029 (talk) 02:04, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing and notability seem to check out. There are just some minor style considerations.
  1. Don't forget to wikify key words in the article.
  2. Add some categories to make your article easier to find once it is moved into mainspace.
  3. You should probably remove the level five headers (like Male-math and female-language associations) per the manual of style.
Hope this helps. Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:43, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

This is my first article, so I just need to submit it for review before going live. I don't have any more sources besides the actual website, which is up and running, so hopefully that should be enough. Thanks so much!

Bbrickhouse3 (talk) 03:06, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bbrick. Sorry to have to say this, but notability cannot be shown with only links to the company's page. Rival Health may pass our notability guidelines, but Rival Fusion / RivalFusion doesn't seem to. You would need more third-party, reliable sources. For further reference (some style issues):
  1. Adding categories would be a good way to help readers find your article.
  2. You should wikify more terms, such as nutrition plan.
I hope this helps. Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:49, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello everyone! Could you please take some time off to check out this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmund_Ser

It is about Edmund Ser, a Malaysian Fashion Designer whom have contributed to the Malaysian Fashion Scene most notably in the 80s-90s. This article is about his early life, how he achieved his success as well as his life.

Thank you so much. Asiareports (talk) 03:13, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It seems someone has already tagged the major issues. You may want to contact an editor, perhaps at the Guild of Copyeditors to deal with weasel words and other style issues. Sources look beautiful, although if you want to use foreign-language sources, boleh. Hope that helps. Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:53, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for reviewing. I will contact the the Guild of Copyeditors. Thanks for the tip! Asiareports (talk) 03:59, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It seems User:TParis is trying to do the copy editing already, so you might want to put that off. Good work though. Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:05, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thank you! Asiareports (talk) 04:16, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Joe Volk[edit]

This page I have created for musician Joe Volk and it does not seem to be going live. I have followed all the guidelines, used references and links. I have made over 11 edits and it has been over four days since I created it. Any help as to why it is not going live would be most appreciated. I have tried to follow all guidelines. I appreciate and help or advice you can offer.

That was in your user space - not a live article. It hadn't been submitted for a review or anything; it wouldn't automatically be made live.
I have moved it to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Joe Volk and submitted it for a review; you should get a response within a few days.  Chzz  ►  08:45, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Added new article for a major urban development project in Hanoi, Vietnam. Please assist for formatting clean up. Cheers!

All but one of the references are to 'ecopark.vn' - that is a primary source, not independent.
Articles must have "significant coverage in independent reliable sources - see WP:VRS.  Chzz  ►  08:49, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

any help on keeping this as a viable article, and safe from deletion would be greatly appreciated. I am a wiki newb BMFfromNC (talk) 17:39, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As the live article was deleted, I can't see it. But I can see User:BMFfromNC/Predator (North Carolina band).
It does not seem to meet the notability guidelines; please see WP:VRS and WP:BAND.  Chzz  ►  08:51, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting any feedback regarding page draft. Thank you!

I just noticed that there is no article about the announcement of Google, Bing and Yahoo. So I decided to write my first article here. However, I need a lot of help because I'm not very experienced. The announcement was a website called schema.org which offers a small set of schemas which can be used along with microformats to mark up data on a website.

Dominik Moritz (talk) 19:23, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that someone created an official article. I'll merge my findings into it. Dominik Moritz (talk)
(Schema.org) - OK. But please don't add references to blogs; they're not reliable sources.  Chzz  ►  08:53, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. However, don't they prove that the companies announced the collaboration? Dominik Moritz (talk)

This is a brief company overview of a national retailer, Cellular Sales. I would appreciate any feedback, with particular interest in knowing if I have maintained suitable neutrality. I acknowledge a conflict of interest on this topic and am striving to meet Wikimedia's suggested guidelines.
