New article pushed live. Please help me with the categories. I have moved my article after receiving good feedback and I would appreciate help with the categories and some additional advice if you have any. Looks good; you had one non-existent category, so I fixed that, and two too-general cats I fixed. Sourcing/footnoting looks really smooth. I think you're good to go; a photo would be nice if you can contact his company (publicist?) and ask to get a photo released to Creative Commons (a technical version of public domain). For that, you need to get the image, upload it, and get the copyright holder to e-sign a WP:OTRS slip. You can also add some WP:Wikiprojects tags to your Talk page, never hurts. A couple more notes:
  1. Find some third party sources that report on this site to prove notability. Without any reliable sources, your article could be put up for deletion if in the main article space.
  2. Consider expanding the article more before moving it to article space.

This is for the above post as well. The article seems to be on a notable topic, but don't forget that it needs to be verifiable. As such, you should add more reliable sources, preferable with in-line citations. The title should be Firefox (aircraft), but I have already taken care of that. You should work the references to Firefox (film) and Firefox (novel) into the body of the article, perhaps an "In popular culture" section. Also you need to add WP:Categories. Not vague ones like "Airplanes", "Russia", but the most specific ones you can apply. I advise you check out a good article on a similar airframe and use the cats that article has to inspire you.  Done Reviewed, but I ended up adding three other tags. On the bright side, they're easy fixes, and fixing them will greatly improve the article. For WP:Notability (people) you want at least two distictly different sources; your one footnote can serve for one of them. Though the word "blog" sends up red flags, I think you're okay here since it's an official .mil blog. I advise you dig up a few more footnotes, ideally from media sources covering this decision. That will meet the "ref improve" and "notability" tags. Then you just need to add WP:Categories. Not general ones like "Military", "Medicine", but the most specific tags possible.
One very promising possibility: if you can find any image of Horoho online which was taken by a military or other federal source, you can add it to your page as US Federal images are automatically out of copyright. So I suggest you try and nab a pic of her from wherever as that really spruces up the article. Just make sure you carefully read the upload form at commons.wikimedia.org (where free pics should be uploaded), as many new editors fail to check the right boxes and a 'bot deletes their image. The key is to make sure you fill out all the slots, and that you select "Image is from the US Army" or however it's phrased in the Licensing drop-down menu. This is my first article and I am not sure about two things. 1. Wether I have correctly titled it and 2) procedure for uploading it. My problems with 2) may be due to the fact that I have only been a registered user for two days and the 'move' button does not yet appear on my user interface. I cannot move it into the area for comment.

  • hey, i feel like my page is quite relevant, and notable, the E-mu SP-12 was one of the first successful digital samplers and paved the way for the SP-1200 which is often credited for helping define the hip hop genre, i feel it deserves to be moved live, but i would like it if someone looked over it first.

Updated to add: please move this page live once it has been reviewed. I don't have enough edits to move it off my userspace. Also, just as an additional measure of notability for this entry, many of the surfing-related wikipedia entries I've read include Surfline as a cited source, and the wiki entry on Surf Forecasting is copied from Surfline. Thanks!

Could a reviewer or two check this new biography article on Barry M. Gough? It's still titled User:JaneFaber/Enter_your_new_article_name_here. I've been told it can be given its final title whenever it moves to article space. Article text is at the 4 May entry on my userpage contributions list. This is my first article. Please give me feedback and any comments to improve it. How does the article lose the "unreviewed citation" in the box atop the article. How does the subject (of a biography) show up on a category list? Do I need to add the subject to the category list?

This is my first article. I would appreciate feedback on the formatting and the links. I put a link to the german wikipedia page for this author under external links. Is this correct? Have I tagged the article correctly? When, I go to the wikipedia home page and search for Ruth Weiss author, my article does not come up. Not sure why. Appreciate your input.

Hey, I would love a review of the page I'm working on before moving it live. I want to make sure it has sufficient information and all the formatting is proper. I provided as much verifiable information as I could on Amy Powers, a lyricist who has worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber, whose music is currently being performed in the musical Doctor Zhivago, touring Australia, and whose song "As If We Never said Goodbye" from Sunset Boulevard just got aired on Glee in April 26, 2011. Help/thoughts? Thanks!

As the Lubachevsky-Stillinger algorithm is becoming a standard tag in several scientific research areas, it may now be a right time to write an explanation of what it is. The idea of the proposed article style is to have it explained correctly but not very boringly so that anybody would be able to read with understanding at least 50% of it. Did it work?
