Wikipedia:Scientific, academic, mainstream, and proportional point of view

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Introduction[edit]

One of the mysteries of Wikipedia is what "neutrality" means in our jargon. I think that scientific, academic, mainstream, and proportional point of view gives immediate insight into how the ball is played inside Wikipedia, while neutral point of view is puzzling for newbies.

Or, to put it otherwise, neutral does not mean the view from nowhere, but the encyclopedic normative POV.
