Wikipedia:Suppress display of the fundraising banner

The Wikimedia Foundation's annual fundraiser includes banner ads that some find annoying. While logged in, users can suppress the fundraising banner as follows.

Log in or create a Wikipedia account
Go to Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-centralnotice-banners (click the "Banners" tab if it is not already selected)
Uncheck the option under the "Banner types to display" heading which reads "Fundraising"
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page and refresh your browser

Users without editor accounts can use the Thank You page to suppress donation banners.
