I have single-handedly migrated every page which used this template (maybe more than hundred pages or so) to Template:Infobox ancient site. That template was already used much more widely on Wikipedia before I started migrating pages to that template. It is does exactly the same thing as Template:Infobox archaeological site and offers more options. Considering that we should avoid duplication of templates and Template:Infobox archaeological site is no longer in use on any page (except for six sandbox pages of users) I propose to delete this template. #REDIRECT [[Template:Infobox ancient site]]. this allows someone looking for an infobox for archaeological sites to find template:Infobox ancient site, and allows limited functionality in old-revisions if there is some parameter similarity. it also allows someone to type '{{infobox archaeologicial site' and have it be functionally equivalent to typing '{{infobox ancient site'. the WP:REDIRECT page has more information, but I am happy to explain it further if you still don't understand how it works. There may be consensus for deleting most of the youth templates, per related discussions, but no real consensus here. - Delete all – Template of youth competitions, regional competitions (including senior), friendly competitions, regional and minor multi-sport events are REALLY not necessary and not prominent.
- World Military Games is a competitions for army only, Summer Universiade is a competitions for students only so they aren't REALLY stand out. Oceanian Futsal Championship is a futsal competition only. International Tournament City of São Paulo, Nehru Cup are friendly competitions only. EAFF Championship (formerly Dynasty Cup), AFF Suzuki Cup (formerly Tiger Cup), SAFF Championship are regional competitions. Indian Ocean Island Games is a minor multi-sport event that too few people know. SEA Games is a regional multi-sport event only. The others are youth competitions only. - I disagree with your opinion! Youth competitions are not enough notable. This is oversupply. All recent discussions accepted delete these template types. Not only youth competitions but also regional competitions, minor competitions, football tournament at the minor and regional multi-sport events must be deleted. - I agree that Football at the Southeast Asian Games has notability. BUT Football at the Southeast Asian Games is NOT equivalent to Football at the Asian Games, Football at the Summer Olympics or FIFA World Cup. They should be fixed all? - Comment. I think although they're not notable, we can't ignore they're utility identifying players that played in a specific competition. Most of the players in those templates have a stub article. If it says in the article that the player participated in the competiton it's fine, but if it doesn't, I think the articles would be poorer, removing this templates. Most likely we will never known which tournaments the player participated because no one will add it to their articles.--Threeohsix (talk) 15:13, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Keep all They are notable squads playing in notable competitions. The squads in question all have stand alone articles and all the competitions have stand alone competitions. Absolutely no reason to justify their deletion. If templates for senior competitions are acceptable, which everyone seems to be upon, I fail to see how these templates are any less worthy of being kept. TonyStarks (talk) 18:56, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

- Comment - To me, this nomination looks exactly the same as the one at June 13, which was closed as no consensus, with the closer stating "I would suggest renominating a smaller well-defined subset". - Delete all youth templates, as per the consensus established and noted in the previous no consensus discussion. Keep all other templates as full international tournaments. These may need listing separately, as there are at least some, the Oceania Futsal tmeplates, which seem to be full continental competitions and uthers, such as EAFF an Suzuki Cup which seem quite prominent. - Strong keep - If we delete all the youth templates, I suggest deleting all the senior team templates as well. As mentioned by someone above, youth competitions can be notable. Also, regional competitions, why are they not notable? Let's just put ourselves in the shoes of someone who is interested in those youth squads, regional competitions, minor competitions, and whatever else mentioned for deletion above. - @Arctic Kangaroo:, there is strong consensus from numerous recent discussions that youth templates are considered not-notable. football player notability guidelines differntiate between youth and senior, and we should take a similar view with other apsects of the sport. - Consensus can change, but not in such a short period of time, given the number of recent TFDs of youth templates that have all been deleted (as you very well know) - the latest in a long line is this from last week, overwhelming conseus to delete. The issue here is that the nominator is nominating so many articles, and that he is nominating different types of articles at the same time. - Players, managers and referees who have represented their country in any FIFA sanctioned senior international match (including the Olympics) are notable as they have achieved the status of participating at the highest level of football. But, nobody said every players who do not have represented their country in any FIFA sanctioned senior international match are not notable - they can also be notable. - Keep all Actually I do not see any reason why youth tournaments are not notable. Youth tournaments have drawn people's attention in the past 10 years and now even with live match streaming.
