  • this module was written in enwiki, per someones's request. normally, i would not mind too much if it was deleted, except that it has several interwikis, and some wikis are actually using it. last time i looked, the Catalan one pretty heavily. since it was started here, i think it makes sense to leave the "source" of this module in place. peace - קיפודנחש (aka kipod) (talk) 20:08, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete or move to it's user's sandbox if they want it. There is no reason to keep an unused template or module. Propose merging Template:Educational years with Template:Schools.

  • Oppose if anything, {{School type}} should be splitted to a navigation boxes which you can have on one screen. I'm against theese navigation boxes which tries to cover everything - like one box for schools worldwide. Christian75 (talk) 09:12, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Christian75: This template is not aiming to cover every school around the world. It is trying to give a general overview of the topic. Are you saying the section "By educational stage" should be forked into a standalone template? How would that be helpful? If not, why should not "Educational years" be merged into that section?   • Strongly Oppose While finding both the templates in the need of a rewrite. Why. Read thoroughly the article International Standard Classification of Education which gives a global perspective on Educational stages, and the titles given to schools outside ones home area. Propose merging Template:Education stages with Template:Schools.
Template:Education stages is quite beautifully designed. Yet, it is ultimately arguebly redundant if properly merged into the section "By educational stage" in Template:Schools. Vice versa, the "By educational stage" section in Template:Schools could be more conveniently and pedagogically illustrated - as seen in Template:Education stages. On a sidenote, we have Template:Education. Perhaps the final name of the here above nominated merge should have another name than Template:Schools? Not sure. Plain final second step merge with Template:Education would bring about a too large template, I'm afraid, that wouldn't make sense. On a further note, perhaps lastly some information in Template:Education stages/sandbox could be integrated? PPEMES (talk) 08:36, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the name could be better. However, the table design of Template:Education stages I find quite helpful. Couldn't it be implemented in a proper section within the destination template?
