Unused navbox. A fundamental problem is that we don't have a parent article like Israeli cheeses. We don't even have Category:Israeli cheeses. We need some content on Israeli cheeses before this navbox has any reason to exist. Nigej (talk) 21:21, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. This is so generic as none of these are uniquely Israeli cheeses nor are the links brands of Israeli cheeses. Gonnym (talk) 23:03, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete the content makes no sense, many generic cheeses and a non-cheese-specific region article -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 05:20, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unused and unfinished article content on 6 of the 12 2020 Summer Olympics women's rugby sevens team squads (the other 6 don't exist). The full list is at Rugby sevens at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's team squads. The information there doesn't have dates of birth etc, but my own view is that the plain lists we have currently are all we need. Anyone who wants to know their date of birth can look at the player articles. Nigej (talk) 20:49, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Paralympic Games Great Britain wheelchair rugby squad templates[edit]

These squad navboxes have the British Paralympic Games Wheelchair rugby squad from 1996 to date. They are all used at Great Britain national wheelchair rugby team and were being used there as article content, hence their unusual position in the article. This is not allowed per WP:NAVBOX "Do not rely solely on navboxes for links to articles highly relevant to a particular article. Navboxes are not displayed on the mobile website for Wikipedia, which accounts for around half of readers." I have extracted the content and added it to the article. I recommend that we delete the templates. They are used in a number of player articles: 0,0,0,5,6,1,3 respectively. However I'm not convinced they are useful for navigation there, they only provide navigation between players and to the Great Britain national wheelchair rugby team article. There are no real parent articles like Great Britain wheelchair rugby at the Paralympic Games to link to. Navigation is better achieved using the infobox and "see also" sections to give navigation, see Bulbul Hussain. Nigej (talk) 19:14, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Propose merging Template:National wheelchair rugby teams with Template:International wheelchair rugby.
Two templates with a few links each that could be turned into one. Both use the same 3 geographical divisions. Given the number of red links in "National wheelchair rugby teams", it's difficult to believe that a combined template would grow too large anytime soon. User created two identical templates, see User talk:Lucky102#repeatedness. I've changed the articles to use {{Rowing at the 2020 Summer Paralympics}} which seems the better name. This one can go. Nigej (talk) 09:13, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

These film genre category templates can be merged into a single template. See Template:YYYY comedy films category header/sandbox. Merged template name should be Template:YYYY genre films category header. Gonnym (talk) 02:23, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Newly created editnotice, and not one I believe should be implemented. For articles where non-free images keep getting added, they're almost always added in a particular place, normally the infobox image parameter or the top. When there's a concern at a particular place, it's better to use a hidden comment than an editnotice, so that it doesn't annoy folks editing other parts of the article. This is too bold a response to the problem, and it'll contribute to banner blindness if implemented. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 02:14, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Sdkb: What of Template:Editnotices/Page/TommyInnit? --Izno (talk) 03:14, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Izno, in that article's infobox, I see there's already | image = <!-- Please do NOT upload any images of him. All images of him so far are under copyright and WILL be deleted for copyright violations. There is no fair use rationale for images of living people. -->. That seems sufficient to me. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 03:30, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
