< The Boeing 747 was a wonderful aircraft of its magnitude and its successful career. It revolutionized aviation travel for everyone. Before, only the wealthy could afford to fly. It was the first superjumbo ever. (Full article...)

  • Promoted: February 9, 2008 for Featured Article of Day, December 31, 2007 nomination
  • Reasons for nomination: it is an important token for aviation history, the first superjumbo ever.
  • Support as nominator. Bredyhopi (talk) 12:45, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I do not particularly favor the blurb you made for this TFA request. You need to have a detailed summarizing blurb that informs readers what the Boeing 747 is. I also don't think a Featured Article that has already appeared on the main page should reappeared for now with plenty of featured articles that haven't appeared on the main page yet. ₛₒₘₑBₒdyₐₙyBₒdy₀₅ (talk) 13:22, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per the blurb. It is written too much like a joke rather than a summary of the article. Aoba47 (talk) 21:32, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, Archtransit is a banned editor, master sockpuppeteer; we would need a serious review of this article before re-running it. Please stop this. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:52, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - blurb is completely unusable. Bad summary of the article, too short, WP:NPOV issues such as the use of "wonderful". I would recommend that @WP:TFA coordinators probably reject this nomination, as it isn't going anywhere with this blurb. Hog Farm Talk 02:31, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
