Naruto Uzumaki (うずまき ナルト, Uzumaki Naruto) is a fictional character in the anime and manga franchise Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto. The eponymous protagonist of the series, he is a teen ninja from the fictional village of Konohagakure. The villagers ridicule Naruto on account of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox—a malevolent creature that attacked Konohagakure—sealed in his body; despite that, he aspires to become the village's leader, the Hokage. His carefree, optimistic and boisterous personality enables him to befriend other Konohagakure ninja, as well as ninja from other villages. Naruto appears in the series' films and in other media related to the franchise, including video games and original video animations (OVA). (Full article...)

  • Reasons for nomination: I would like my first FA to be presented on TFA.
  • Support as nominator. 1989 15:39, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Well-written article which passed the TFA with flying colors. @1989: Just a correction though: there was a similar TFA recently, Allen Walker. Also, if possible, could the article go up as TFA on October 10, the character's birthday? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:24, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • @WP:TFA coordinators Am I allowed to do that? I'm not sure if this can happen for fictional characters. -- 1989 01:27, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You can request it for any date you want, for any reason you want; if there's support (or sometimes if there's just no opposition) it can be run. However, this is not currently transcluded at WP:TFAR, and you're only allowed to request dates up to thirty days in advance. It could be added to TFAR for a non-specific date, but not for October 10. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 01:45, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Mike Christie: My request is under Nonspecific date 3. Does that mean that I have to put this on hold or withdrawal? 1989 01:49, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So it is -- sorry, I was looking at the summary table, which hasn't been updated yet. If you want to withdraw this in favour of the October date, I can close it for you; just remember to put a request in after September 10. @Mike Christie: Sure thing. -- 1989 01:58, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, just to be clear -- you want me to close this so you can request it for October, right? Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 02:00, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      Yes. -- 1989 02:01, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
