Overview of library resources[edit]

The University Library is a member of the Association of Research Libraries and holds approximately two million volumes in its collection; as with libraries of its type and size, it also offers a wide array of electronic resources, including tens of thousands of journals and 600,000 ebooks. Its Division of Research Collections and Archives holds many valuable and unique resources, with emphases in areas such as peace and war (with a particular emphasis on the Holocaust and resistance), Bertrand Russell, Canadian literature and popular culture, among other areas.
