Wikipedia:WikiProject Mali/Azawad task force

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to Azawad task force of WikiProject Mali. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Azawad and the organisation of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.

Goals[edit]

  • To expand coverage of articles relating to the former state of Azawad.
  • To create new articles where need be, particularly on the Politics of Azawad and the Economy of Azawad.
  • To create guidelines and conflict resolution, should they arise, within the project.
  • To coordinate map disputes.
  • To coordinate with WikiProject Mali and WikiProject Arab world in expanding overlapping articles.
  • To get Azawad itself to be a Featured Article.
  • To create Azawad-related barnstars

Scope[edit]

  • All articles in all subjects that cover areas related to the Azawad in some form or another. This includes any former of current residents of Azawad, any geographical features, battles, news items, structures, outline-format articles, ANYTHING about Azawad really.

Guidelines[edit]

  • As with most every WikiProject, guidelines are the same. All formats, instructions, nuances, and requirements must be followed. Besides the rudimentary guidelines set by Wikipedia, we have none. Please don't disrupt our growth as a project though, only water the seed the that is WikiProject Azawad.
