About The Portal

The Portal contains several sections.

News Section

This should be updated whenever an important or interesting news story is released about the BBC. It should be made verifiable, by adding external links to the bottom of the story, and when a story is replaced by a newer one it should be added to the 2007 News Archive.

Selected Picture, Article and Biography

These three showcase some of our BBC content. They should be changed fairly regularly to maintain freshness and interest, and if they can be made topical it is even better. The article and biography chosen should be fairly well written, for example it should be referenced, not in need of a cleanup, be neutral and fairly comprehensive and probably not be stub class. The image should be free use.

Did You Know?, Introduction and Quotes

These sections are not in need of such regular updates, but if you can think of improvements feel free to make them.
