Description[edit]

Geomatics is a science closely related to Geography, though unlike Geography is not a humanity. Leaning more towards an engineering field or an information science, the Geomatics Wikiproject if created would work to improve all the articles on wikipedia regarding geospatial information which is currently in an extremely sorry state.
