Some Wikipedians have created a task force to help with the naming and disambiguation of school articles. Working under the umbrella of WikiProject Education, this task force works with all of the WikiProjects that are focused on school related articles: WikiProject Schools, WikiProject Universities, and WikiProject Education in Canada.
Working from and with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (schools), this page and its subpages contain further guidelines and suggestions for the naming of school articles. It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians, and tie the efforts of the multiple school WikiProjects together. Scope[edit]
- This task force aims to develop and standardize naming and disambiguation conventions for school articles. Long term goals could include specific naming guidelines that address the individual countries' naming difficulities, working with the school related WikiProjects to assess articles for name change need and difficulty, and a moving and disambiguation department where assistance with difficult moves could be requested.

Tagging and assessment[edit]
The School naming task force does not assess or tag articles. WikiProjects Schools, Universities, and Education in Canada already have their own assessment departments. Co-ordinating with these WikiProjects to add assessment of the naming of the schools that they already assess is a top priority.
