  1. Q: When can I enter the contest?
    A: The signups were open until 00:00, 1 December 2009.
  2. Q: When does the contest begin?
    A: The contest began on November 11.
  3. Q: How is the scoring done?
    A: See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/World_War_I_task_force/Contest#Contest_rules for the scorring system.
  4. Q: What happens if I want to withdraw?
    A: Leave a note on the main contest talk page saying you wish to drop out and you will be immediately eliminated.
  5. Q: Do I have to pick a country?
    A: No, flags of any geographical locations are accepted. Unrecognized countries (for example, Kosovo or Hong Kong), de facto independent states (like Abkhazia), flags of cities, regions, US states are permitted, but please ask on the talk page if you are still unsure.
  6. Q: Who does the scoring?
    A: The scoring is done by appointed scoring keepers.
  7. Q: What happens if a user stops editing during the tournament with or without warning or notification?
    A: Nothing will happen. If they stop editing, they will most likely drop to the bottom of the pool lose anyway. Eventually they will be removed from the contest.
