Wikipedia:WikiProject Orphanage/do-talk-message

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Please remember these guidelines when attempting to de-orphan an article:

  • Add only meaningful links. This means that if a link to this article is not relevant to anything else, it should not be added. Only add links to orphans if the link is relevant to the other article's subject-matter.
  • If there are three to six links to the orphan in other articles (including up to 3 lists but excluding disambiguation pages) then it is classed as lonely, and should have this template: {{lonely|date=Month Year}}.
  • If you attempt to de-orphan the article, but are unsuccessful, replace the orphan template with this template: {{do-attempt|date=Month Year|user=Example|att=Month Year}} - note that date should be whatever date the article was originally tagged as an orphan, and att should be whatever date you attempted to de-orphan it on.
