So I guess we can confirm this is the first Collaboration of the fortnight? Young said on the talk page 3 support votes would be good now, and we have four, so I will put up the collaboration template on rugby union. Please forgive me if I don't do work right away, I will try and do a bit this weekend. --HamedogTalk|@ 08:38, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I would like to nominate the North America 4 tournament. It was previously mentioned to nominate one particular club team in the US to raise interest in North America, however this tournament features two teams from the US and Canada respectively. These teams are composed of the best domestic players available. The IRB is pumping a lot of money into it, with the hopes of bringing professional rugby to North America. In fact the exposure of this tournament has led to some players representing their country and others getting professional contracts.Am rockstar 17:06, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sure, I think it's a great idea. There has recently been an influx in creating North American rugby articles, and I think the article would do well to have some new sets of eyes on it hoopydinkConas tá tú? 18:35, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • I support this nomination. The current article is very small, but can very much be expanded. COTF will be great for this article.Cvene64 22:44, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Has some information there, however a lot of work can be done. Clearly quite a bit of information out there on him that is accessible. Would be great for a current, tier one coach to have a high quality article about them. - Shudda talk 01:56, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Agree. Also, we have never had a player or coach as the COTW thus far. Hadden would be great to start with. Cvene64 05:41, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. I also support this much needed expansion, however, where we get the info from to expand is anyones guess. (He's a nice guy as well, and an excellent coach) --Bob 23:13, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  4. I support this proposal.--Historian 12:09, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I do believe there is a fair bit of information out there on him. Especially on the internet, not sure how many books there will be with much on him, a Scottish fan might know more about that. I certainly think there is more out there on him then on NA4, and I think there is enough to at least achieve Good Article status. - Shudda talk 23:55, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Is now a featured article on French language Wikipedia. This can be used to get the article to Featured Article status here. The Australia national rugby union team is a national sporting side, representing Australia in rugby union. Sport is very popular in Australia, rugby union is popular, and the national team are one of the best in the world. Australia compete annually with All Blacks and Springboks in the Rugby Union Tri Nations. The Wallabies have competed in all five of the rugby union World Cups that have thus far been staged. They won the World Cup on two occasions, in 1991 and 1999 and also lost in the final match in extra time to England in 2003 competition. They are the third top ranked team in the world (behind only the All Blacks (featured article) and France national rugby union team (current collaboration)).[1] Seven former Australian players have been inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame. Please help improve it to featured article standard. I hope that fr:Équipe d'Australie de rugby à XV will be a featured article before the beginning of rugby world cup...

  3. The Greatest Player of All-Time deserves an analagous Wiki-Article at least. -G W, 19 Jul 07
  4. Yes. The article's disappointing considering the profile of this player. Very little by way of sources - what about referencing his autobiography for a start? That's not the only book he's written either. Then there's a bit a cross-referencing to other wp articles. Ewen 18:46, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
