Script Visual
<silence> Title slide
Although we often assume that screencasts are created by one person, like any online project, they can be greatly enhanced through collaboration. Perhaps a montage of an edit history, a WikiProject, and an IRC help chat.
If you don't have the tools or skills to produce an entire screencast by yourself, or if you would like to help out on an existing project, there are many ways in which you can contribute to specific elements.
If you have a good idea for a screencast, but you're not sure how to develop it further, you can discuss the idea with others at the WikiProject Screencast talk page. Close-up of discussion at the talk page, and ideas list at the Factory page
If you're a confident writer, you could try putting together a script. A work-in-progress script (how about this one?)
Or if you're a skilled editor, you could give feedback or make changes to an existing script. Close-up of commentary about a script.
If you have access to audio recording equipment, you could record a script or individual segments. Picture of nerd sitting at computer with microphone
Or if you have good image editing software, you could assemble slides for a slidecast. Image editing montage

Note: At this length, the run time is approximately 1 minute. How can we expand?
