Suggested template for a "Squatting in X" article where X is a state or region

  • Offered as a guide, feel free to ignore.
  • It's probably best simply to emulate a relevant and already existing "Squatting in X" article.

Lead[edit]

  • First sentence: Squatting in X is the occupation of unused land or derelict buildings without the permission of the owner. (or similar).
  • Then an introduction summarising the article contents per MOS:LEAD

  • Legal situation, or collapse section into history

Context[edit]

  • Relevant local groups/issues or collapse into history

Recent events[edit]

  • Mention recent events or collapse section into history

References[edit]

  • References to reliable secondary sources, all formatted in one style whatever is your preference
