Wikipedia:WikiProject Tasmania/QR list

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A proposal has been made to the Hobart City Council to include QR codes on their new Wayfinder signs: There are currently two signs (for public feedback) and they plan to roll out 61 total by the end of the year. We are not sure where the signs will be located, other than "in researched locations across three distinct zones – the waterfront, inner city and outer city". The primary aim for these will be pedestrian traffic so it would be safe to suggest "outer city" would be areas that see frequent foot traffic, but this is an assumption. Since it is a HCC initiative, the list is limited to will be within the HCC area.

The purpose of this page is to identify potential articles to be covered by such signs, and to start improving these articles. Even if the project doesn't go ahead, the effort in improving these won't go to waste!

Articles should be able to be tied to a particular location. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean it has to be an article about a place or landmark - it could be about a person, object or event that is linked to a particular event. All locations should be within the City of Hobart area.
