Malafaia et al. 2019

Hi, requesting creation of the cladogram from Malafaia et al. (2019) for expansion of Vallibonavenatrix, preferably only with the parts relevant to a genus-level spinosaurid article. Many thanks. ▼PσlєοGєєкƧɊƲΔƦΣƉ▼ 23:52, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

Spinosauridae

Wow, not a lot of resolution on this one. Let me know if you want the outgroup as well. Lythronaxargestes (talk | contribs) 00:56, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks! Looks good. Yeah, and interestingly Sigilmassasaurus is cited as a baryonychine here. ▼PσlєοGєєкƧɊƲΔƦΣƉ▼ 02:18, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

Bantu

I would like 2 cladograms, 1 for Southern Bantoid languages and 1 for Bantu languages, from p.431 this PDF file (p.391 according to the numbering). Greenwhitedino (talk) 22:48, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

Stellasaurus cladogram

Hi, a new cladogram from the Stellasaurus paper[1] could be useful, also since it illustrates some points relevant for the FA Achelousaurus. I think fig. 9 would probably be best. FunkMonk (talk) 12:58, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Which bit? The whole lot or just Ceratopsidae or Centrosaurinae? —  Jts1882 | talk  13:24, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Ah, yes, only Centrosaurinae. FunkMonk (talk) 13:30, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
(edit conflict)
Here's Ceratopsidae:

I'll add the wiki formating. —  Jts1882 | talk  13:38, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Cool, thanks, I think you can snip Ceratopsidae and the two taca outside centrosaurinae, because I doubt any articles will use them. FunkMonk (talk) 13:48, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
I'm not sure what part of it to copy though, as it's part of a gallery, and it looks broken when I only take some of it? FunkMonk (talk) 18:40, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
FunkMonk copy everything starting below the line that says "|cladogram2=". You'll have to remove the last double squiggly brackets also, but that should work. Enwebb (talk) 19:23, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks, that did the trick, now added to Achelousaurus (with icons). I just noticed it doesn't show clade names below subfamily level, but maybe a future paper will include that... FunkMonk (talk) 20:09, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Some more double cladograms

So I've come to like the side by side cladograms, and was thinking it might make some older FAs look better. In particular Mascarene parrot and Bluebuck, whose cladograms now take up way too much space. But as usual, I can't figure out how to make it work, so maybe someone here could post them side by side here so I could add them to the best locations in the articles? FunkMonk (talk) 22:11, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Done. I'll leave the topology labels up to you. Lythronaxargestes (talk | contribs) 22:55, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
Thanks, only saw this now! FunkMonk (talk) 00:23, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Turner et al. 2021

I would like the cladogram from the description of Shri devi, please. Sci-Hub hasn't been showing me papers from 2021 so I can't do it myself. Atlantis536 (talk) 14:13, 17 January 2021 (UTC)

@Atlantis536: The paper is available here. How much do you want to show in the cladogram? —  Jts1882 | talk  14:20, 17 January 2021 (UTC)

Homogalax

I would like the odd-toed ungulate phylogeny from Bai et al. 2020 if that's possible. I've been translating a load of articles (this one obviously being Homogalax) and can't figure out how to construct a proper phylogeny.

Thanks! Borophagus (talk) 13:06, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

@Borophagus: Can you be more specific about the cladogram required. I got the Bai el al (2020)[1] reference from the German Wikipidia and there are two cladograms. Do you want Figs 7 or 8, the whole thing or part of it. As you are interested in Homogalax I've made a start with a cladogram based on Fig 7 and showing the early branching ‘Isectolophidae’ taxa with families and superfamilies for the ceratomorphs.
I'm never sure about permissions, but it is available under Creative Commons 4.0 so it might be possible to upload the figures.—  Jts1882 | talk  14:34, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

@Jts1882: That cladogram's exactly what I needed. Hopefully the CC license will allow its use.
Honestly, the cladogram you provided should be perfect for the article. Thanks!

You can make deeper cladograms using sub-trees with |subclade#= and |target#=. I've edited the cladogram above. The two tree version can be got from the page history (oldid=1009733029) if that is preferred. —  Jts1882 | talk  09:36, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

Gallina et al. (2021)

I'd like to see the cladogram of the Ninjatitan description please. The paper is paywalled and Sci-Hub still won't work even though their legal case is long ever. Atlantis536 (talk) 05:58, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

The Indian legal case is still ongoing, apparently the court records suggest that the next hearing is scheduled on March 17.Macrophyseter | talk
Ameghiniana has never played nice with Sci-Hub. I can't get it either by means either legal or illegal. Lythronaxargestes (talk | contribs) 07:34, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
I have access to Ameghiniana through BioOne. The most recent issue visible to me at this time is Vol 57(6) December 2020. The Ninjatitan description is in the following issue (58(1)), and should be accessible to me in the next few weeks or even days. Loopy30 (talk) 13:47, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
Sorry, I rechecked and only the abstract is visible to me. The complete articles are only available up to 2017.Loopy30 (talk) 19:35, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Ueekenkcoracias Cladogram?

I admit, I really need to learn how to create a cladogram, but could anyone make one based on Fig. 3 of this paper? Thanks in advance! Borophagus talk 09:38, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Chinatichampsus phylogeny

I'm working on the Chinatichampsus article, so could anyone create a cladogram based on Fig. 8 of this paper? Thanks in advance! Borophagus talk 09:17, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi Borophagus, how far back are you looking for? All the species within the subfamily Caimanae? Loopy30 (talk) 00:10, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
Sorry I took so long to reply! Yep, the caimanines would be good. Thanks! Borophagus talk 07:19, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Small help with a clade in the genus Dracophyllum

Hi,

I've created this cladogram based off of https://www.jstor.org/stable/40732242. I was wondering if anyone knows how to move the blue bar, labelled Subgenus Oreothamnus, over to the right so that it didn't touch the "m" of D. rosmarinifolium?

Thanks :) Beeveria (talk) 03:16, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

D. acerosum

D. densum

D. filifolium

D. kirkii

D. ophioliticum

D. patens

D. rosmarinifolium

D. trimorphum

D. arboreum

D. longifolium

D. muscoides

D. pronum

D. scoparium

D. strictum

Subgenus Oreothamnus
Subgenus Dracophyllum
I moved the bar in the previous edit. The cladogram structure is built as a series of nested tables. The |grouplabel= is added as an extra cell so which {{clade}} it belongs to is important (it's hard to describe).
In this edit I have added the labels differently, with both being added to the outermost {{clade}} , which means both labels are in the same table cell on the right. —  Jts1882 | talk  07:28, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks you so much! - Beeveria (talk) 08:10, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

Could anyone reproduce the phylogeny of this paper in a useable format, so I can add it to the Xianglong article? Thanks in advance! Borophagus (talk) 12:55, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

Done - see below. Lythronaxargestes (talk | contribs) 14:19, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Fantastic. Thanks for being so quick, even if I missed it! Borophagus (talk) 18:14, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

Caprinae phylogeny

Hi, can I get a cladogram made for the one in Bover et al. 2019? Direct link to an image of the phylogeny here I request that the cladogram be at genus-level only. Thanks. Hemiauchenia (talk) 00:31, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

I don't mind doing this but which one (top or bottom) would you prefer, what do you mean by at genus level only, and do you need the time scale? Beeveria (talk) 01:09, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Top because then all of the genera are monophyletic. What I mean by genus level only is that the individual species within genera with multiple species are not given distinct nodes and the tree is pruned so there is only a single node per genus. For instance, rather than including all of the species within the genus Capra, it is pruned to a single Capra node. I don't need the timescale. Hemiauchenia (talk) 01:24, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
I see - I'll do it now :) Beeveria (talk) 02:40, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Sorry,
I made a cladogram and, though I'm certain the syntax is right, it isn't appearing right - perhaps @Jts1882 can help? It's at the bottom of User:Beeveria/sandbox.
Beeveria (talk) 07:04, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

Here is it is @Hemiauchenia, thanks Jts1882 for helping with the syntax! Beeveria (talk) 07:53, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

Sorry for not responding, it's been incorporated into the Caprinae article for a while now. Thanks. Hemiauchenia (talk) 07:18, 19 June 2021 (UTC)

Could anyone reproduce the cladogram from Benson & Bowdler (2014) so I can add it to the Abyssosaurus article? The phylogeny is available here. Thanks in advance! Borophagus (talk) 09:28, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

Here you go. I've rearranged it slightly. Lythronaxargestes (talk | contribs) 15:37, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
