Alessa Gillespie[edit]

A major character from the Silent Hill series, recently rewritten by Benten. I'm seeking a review to get answers to two things:

  1. How much more work is needed to get this to GA or FA?
  2. There's a bit of a dispute over the usefulness of this independent translation of a commentary book published by Konami and included in versions of Silent Hill 3. The GA'd Silent Hill (film) and Silent Hill 2 both used it and did not receive objections for it, but Xuchilbara seems to want a second opinion. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 17:17, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comments: Not a bad article, I think it could definitely make it to GA with a little work. FA would take a lot more content. Hope this helps. (Guyinblack25 talk 20:10, 4 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]
    • The "Actor portrayal" section is too small to stand on its own and should be integrated into either the lead or the rest of the "Concept and creation". That being said, the "Character creation" section title is no longer needed.
    • I would also cut down on the amount of fictional (in-game and in-movie) content. Make it more concise and to the point.
    • This is a minor thing, but maybe try to find some external links for the character. If nothing else put an external link for the SH games.
    • Of course, the more reliable sources the better the article.
    • If you're looking to get it to FA, I'd see about expanding the "Concept and creation" section and maybe even see about making a "Reception section". Maybe read through the game reviews to see if anything specific about the character is mention. Like the graphical appearance, portrayal of the movie character and/or voice actor, responses to the character's actions, stuff like that.
