Silicon Dreams trilogy[edit]

This article has had a couple of reviews before and has since then been significantly updated. I believe the issues reported on the talk page from these reviews have been addressed and I'd appreciate input on improvements and suggestion for assesment goal. --Frodet (talk) 15:21, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Summarise setting and plot in the lead
  • Find and discuss contemporary significance. "Classics" and "retro" mags are good sources here, as are "best of..." lists on the web.
  • Gameplay should be the first section. I would also advice that the elements of the plot of "Snowball" that are common to all games are moved to a seperate "Setting" section directly before the "Snowball" section, specifically those elements that are not part of the actual gameplay of Snowball, but just appear as background info.

This is all I can do for you, I know next to nothing about 80s games in particular, sadly. User:Krator (t c) 20:48, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your input, Krator. I have now pretty much done as you have suggested in points 1 and 3. However, the significance is hard to establish. Firstly, most "best of..." lists (i have found) seems to be very US-centric and secondly these US-centric lists seems to be very little retro friendly as well :-) I have found an article or two which deals with the significanse of Level 9 as a whole which I will consider adding.... --Frodet (talk) 11:27, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have inferred some significance in The trilogy section. What do you think? --Frodet (talk) 17:15, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
