We Love Katamari[edit]

Katamari Damacy is a FA so may as well try to get the rest of the series to at least GA, maybe even to FA. Trainra 03:46, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone another[edit]

Article is currently B rated, but I'd suggest a Start rating would be more appropriate right now.

  • There's no reception section - extremely desirable for all video game articles and a necessity for an article on a modern game - this is something I'd expect all B class game articles to have with few exceptions.
  • There's no development section, again extremely desirable and really should be present for a B rating.
  • Referencing is virtually non-existent - it's important to get a citation for each of the awards, but the other data need cites too - use an in-depth review or two for gameplay, look for interviews and other texts online. Things like makeshift peripherals using rubber bands etc. and easter eggs also need cites - things like this can pop up on in-depth gaming sites. Infobox - release dates need cites too. Who's said that Katamari Damacy is a 'sleeper' hit?
  • 'List of cousins' doesn't need to be there, anything relating to cousins should be covered (briefly) in gameplay and cited. Firing off all their names like that doesn't actually tell the reader anything, they're just names.
  • There's several one or two sentence paragraphs which should be merged together into larger paragraphs.
  • Amiable or conversational text such as "At first, one may think it is a joke, but it is possible." needs to be shown the door - present the reader with the facts, back them up with citations, don't try and 'discuss' the subject with them.

The article's looking good and is a great start, but there's a lot of ground to cover before a 'B' rating is justified, let alone GA status being reached. Finding, bookmarking and reading sources online will help you to fill out the blanks and cite the article - this is where some time needs to be put in. Do your best and keep coming back to the project if you need more advice. 86.138.198.93 09:18, 2 October 2007 (UTC) Someone another 01:28, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
