This course introduces students to the transformative powers of dance, taught in the context of creative arts or expressive arts therapy, a worldwide profession that has been recognized for more than 50 years for its holistic and integrative healing effects. Students will have opportunities to draw upon any prior experiences related to the creative arts, practices focused on mind/body unity, non-verbal communication, psychological counseling, psychotherapy or body therapy to develop an understanding and appreciation for DMT.
Students will review and expand existing articles, adding acceptable citations.
