This class will teach how to be a Wikipedian. Students will develop scientific literacy using pages related to the course topic, plant molecular biology. Students will use Wiki exercises and assignments developed specifically for Dr. Bass' class. Assignments include content critique of select pages and content editing. The course is set for Fall 2018, but the Wiki class activities begin in November. Student presentations are scheduled for the last week of classes (Dec 3,5,7). All of the Wiki Class assignments will end Dec 7th, before finals week.
