This course explores the history of the biological and physical sciences from the scientific revolution to the present, with an emphasis on the place of science and scientists within societies since the 16th century. In this Wikipedia assignment, students improve or create new pages on scientists from underrepresented groups. Students taking this course are enrolled in a liberal arts program with a strong emphasis on writing skills and this assignment contributes to the development of their public writing as well as their use of sources.
