This course provides a broad overview of the field of social psychology, emphasizing major themes, historical trends, and current directions. This is a course designed for graduate students. The content leans toward students pursuing a career in social psychology, although the course is open to students from outside of the discipline as well. For the final project, students will be asked to choose between: a) Composing a new article on a topic in social psychology that is not yet represented at Wikipedia, or b) Revising an existing article on Wikipedia that does not adequately represent a topic in social psychology.

1) Complete all of the on-line training modules about how to write a good Wikipedia article.

1) Decide whether they are going to compose a new article or revise an existing one.
2) Submit their chosen topic to the instructor AND receive approval.

Assignment - Submit link to final article

At the end of Week 10, all students should write an email to the instructor with a link to the posted article, and note describing the feedback received and how the student has responded.

Grading will begin on Monday of Week 11.
