This writing-intensive, senior seminar course explores ways that research in Developmental Psychology can be used to address "real-world" problems and issues facing children and families. The Wikipedia assignment would give students a chance to contribute to the communication of research findings in Developmental Psychology on topics such as language development, attachment, development of executive function, emotional self-regulation, development of stereotypes and biases, and/or development of racial or ethnic identity.
