This class focuses on the complex relationships between the digital and the political. It begins with an exploration of analytic groundwork for understanding the internet: conceptual, historical, and social-structural. It then moves on to three critical arenas: governance of the internet; internet intervention in political governance: and the dynamics of digitally mediated social movements.
Our Wikipedia assignment is to create course-relevant articles.
