The course is a standard undergraduate course on "Modern" physics that includes the discoveries and theories of the first half of the twentieth century, namely, the special theory of relativity, introductory quantum mechanics and introduction to nuclear and particle physics. The upper-year year students who take this course will do a Wikipedia assignment where they will read original papers on some of the foundational experiments and write about them. Quite often, accounts of these experiments include later knowledge, and the students will be able to differentiaet between what were the original results and how has our understanding changed (in textbooks) since then.
