This is an interdisciplinary writing course in the Social Foundations of Health master's program. Students learn to write about medicine and health for a variety of audiences -- both academic and non-academic. The course integrates scholarship in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences in order to teach students how to approach questions from multiple perspectives. Graduates combine theory, research, and practice to explore health disparities, health justice, and the connections between the biological and social foundations of health.
