Important criteria for jurors to consider when selecting the winners[edit]
Each jury member has total freedom to rate the entered articles according to their own criteria. However, each jury member may, if she so wishes, list the criteria that was important to her when selecting which article should be commended and why. Below are examples of important criteria that could be suggested by the jury.
- Best Article
- Contribution of the content (richness and accuracy of information, clarity, boldness, neutrality)
- Presentation and wikification
- Illustration (quality and variety of selected illustrations)
- Spelling, grammar, typography, style
- Importance of the subject
- Work Related (other Wikimedia projects)
- Accessibility
- Best Team
- Teamwork (assistance, collaboration, distribution of tasks, dialogue)
- Work Related (working across other Wikimedia projects)
- Choice of theme
- Respect for the rules and the spirit of Wikipedia
