Wikipedia:Wikipediholism test/modern

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you have a coffee-stained mug similar to this example here, you may be spending a little bit too much time on Wikipedia. Why not spend some more and take this test?
Car of Polish Wikipediholic; If you have a car with "???.wikipedia.org," you will spend too much time on WP.
If you have a keyboard similar to this example here, you might be spending too much time pressing "wikipedia."

WARNING: MODERN VERSION. THIS WILL BE MESSY. SUCH MESSINESS EXISTS FOR HUMOROUS REASONS. PROTECTION IS NOT REQUIRED.
Get me out of here!

  • no!

Just tone it down a bit!

If you're not sure whether you are a Wikipediholic or are unsure about the amount of Wikipedihol you took, then you should take this test.

The point value of answering 'yes' to each question is listed in parentheses ( ) at the end of the question. The higher the result, the more likely it is that you are a Wikipediholic! New questions and modifications are of course welcome—good questions are those that measure current addiction (e.g., "have you edited a page in the last week?", not "have you ever edited a page?"), on the hypothesis that Wikipediholism can be cured, or at least controlled to some degree.

Eliteness is more permanent, so can be answered with questions like "Have you ever did a 360 noscope and sniped ur mom while doing it?".

RC is mysterious, so there is no telling what questions are best for it. It's for the best it remains that way.

The test[edit]

Here is the test. Three scoring systems are in use, called points, Eliteness, and RC. A bubble like this - (1) gives points, if it says Eliteness or RC, it gives Eliteness or RC.

If you see URC anywhere, it is a lie and should be reported to the Universe Police, which dosen't exist jajajajajajjaajja

Or maybe that's just what the Universe Police wants us to think...

    • ...more than 25 times? (200)
    • ...more than 150 times?!? (1000)
    • Do you protest the above question because it would take up more time than is necessary to complete the Infinite monkey theorem? (10)
      • Had you read that article before encountering it here? (18)
        • Edited it? (30)
  5. Did you take the test once then come back up here, realising you couldn't answer this until you'd finished, adding an extra 20 points on to your score? (22)
  6. Do you think completing the test is impossible? (-1)
  7. ...or is this test complete? (99999999999999999999999 and 51045 Eliteness)

Other test versions[edit]

    • ... 250? (5000)

The really really last question[edit]

  1. Have you figured out the meaning of life? (42 RC and a philosophy medal)

Okay seriously, this is the last question[edit]

  1. Have you finally figured out what RC is for? (1 URC, because this is the last question and you deserve it)

Interpreting your score[edit]

Please round your score down so that it matches a result in this table. Scores in red are negative, green is zero, black is positive, blue is legendary good, golden is GET-OFF-WIKIPEDIA-NOW!!!level, cerise is legendary evil, magenta is you-are-SO-doomed evil, and lime is end-of-the-universe evil. If you get lime, we will block you. If you thought the red text signified broken links, and were about to attempt fixing them, add 100 to your score. If you found out that they are actually clickable and DID fix them add 250. If you realized they weren't clickable after all because the person before you fixed it and you fixed it back again add another 500. Add another 500 if you just pressed the undo button on the page history. And you can remove 1000 if you actually made a red link. Add 1000 if you fixed that red link. Add 2000 if you found out that you didn't make a red link, but a question. If you thought the blue text signified links, and were about to attempt delinking them, subtract 100 from your score. If they were links, and you fixed them, add 100 to your score. Add 100 to your score if you read this paragraph completely. The higher the score, the more Wikipedihol you drank. A high debt means a vandal. A high balance means a Wikipediholic. .

Interpreting your eliteness[edit]

Eliteness signifies how elite you are. It also signifies how dedicated you are to Wikipedia and other parts of your life. A high score generally means that you are likable, but over 3417 is fatal. This is colored magenta if positive, spring green if negative, azure if zero, and other colors if legendary or anti-legendary. A positive eliteness is a wikipediholic, a negative eliteness is a vandal. .

Interpreting your RC[edit]

RC is a very rare artifact currency that signifies mythicalness. Negative RC is possible due to the existence of antimatter. A high RC balance indicates a true hero, but a balance of over 1,000 RC is fatal. A high RC debt indicates a vile beast. What RC stands for is unknown, but rumors say it stands for Rare Coins.

Interpreting your URC[edit]

URC can be used to multiply your points, Eliteness, or RC values since URC have not been studied. 1 URC can give you a x1000 points multiplier, a x10 Eliteness multiplier, or a x2 RC multiplier. Buying multiples stack, so 2 points multipliers give x1000000, 2 eliteness multipliers give x100, and 2 RC multipliers give x4. URC multipliers act differently with negative scores. Buying a points multiplier on a negative score is x0, a Eliteness multiplier on negative Eliteness is x0.1, and a RC multiplier on negative RC is x0.5 If you have negative URC, you must buy a x0 points multiplier, a x0.1 Eliteness multiplier, or a x0.5 RC multiplier on positive scores.

If you have negative URC and negative scores, a x1000 points multiplier for negative points, a x10 Eliteness multiplier for negative eliteness, and a x2 RC multiplier for negative RC may be bought, but you must use up all negative URC.

URC can be used for other perks as well.

  1. ^ Some might wonder what this means. In Typhoon Mangkhut in 2018, wind speedsin Hong Kong reached 180mph (290km/h). However, no major collapses were recorded. Hence, most buildings in Hong Kong are safe. The windows aren't, though... (See, for example, [1].)
