Obtund, not to be rude, but can you, or anyone else for that matter, actually train 5 students at the same time? Dan653 (talk) 01:03, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was in the process of composing a brief message to Obtund at the moment, actually: I think the better question is, "does it make sense to train 5 students when the Academy has other instructors who don't have any students at all?" Theopolisme 01:09, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That too. Dan653 (talk) 01:11, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I am able to. ObtundTalk 21:16, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think the point here is, it may be better for you to give other instructors a chance at getting students first before you, if you know what I mean. Theopolisme 21:27, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I do wait like 5 hours ObtundTalk 21:45, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not everyone can be on Wikipedia 24/7, so I think waiting something more to the tune of a day or so is more like it. Also, consider asking some other instructors (without students, or with just one or so) if they're interested, first. Theopolisme 21:49, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I trained Obtund, so I know that he's both energetic and responsive, but I think it's important to let others have students as well. Vertium When all is said and done 00:05, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
5 hours is definetly too little and recently I've gone a whole day without Wikipedia, so 24 hours is a good number. Dan653 (talk) 02:35, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
24 it is! ObtundTalk 22:09, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
