Suggestions[edit]

Would No-contest clause count as being creepy enough? Bearian (talk) 23:12, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I guess that would depend on how the hook was worded. Geraldk (talk) 01:18, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The two Frankensteins[edit]

Frankenstein Momin is a politician in the Meghalaya region of India. (He's mentioned in the same context as Adolf Lu Hitler R Marak.) Doctor Richard Frankenstein was chairman of the California Medical Association. (He's mentioned in the Frankenstein in popular culture article.) Orville Eastland (talk) 01:01, 10 October 2009 (UTC). Caution here I'm sure BLP policy would prevent a hook being based on someones name. I certainly wouldnt like it Victuallers (talk) 14:52, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Next steps .... proposals[edit]

  1. I suggest that we create some special occasion pages that look like queue1, queue2 etc. That way we can get all the queues ready so that the bot can see to loading them on October 31.
  1. Also suggest we now have enough hooks to fill the DYK section twice. I think we should run these in prime time ... i.e. when most of the planet are having an Oct 31st. As we get more we fill out from there Victuallers (talk) 14:52, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Both sound fine to me.

I really wish we'd had time to nominate a featured article for that day as well. There was one from a few months ago about a mummy, but I've never been through the nomination process before, so if anyone has and wants to do it... Geraldk (talk) 15:21, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
