Doc error[edit]

User:Gary, can you correct this?

It says:

showStubs
An article must or must not be a stub.
Options: Can be either true (to allow stubs) or false (to disallow stubs).

If "true" means stubs are "allowed", then the first description should say "may or must not". If "true" means that stubs are the only thing you get, then the second description should say "to allow only stubs". WhatamIdoing (talk) 19:42, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I updated it. Should be a bit clearer now. Gary (talk · scripts) 20:01, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How can I get this to work?[edit]

I added importScript('User:Gary/enhanced random article.js'); to my skin.js page but the button doesnt appear, what am I doing wrong? TheFibonacciEffect (talk) 06:40, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, it doesn't work with skin.js anymore. This must have changed at some point in the past few years. I've updated the link in the documentation. It now points to common.js. Try adding the same code to this page instead. Gary (talk · scripts) 17:15, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Random within group[edit]

Good work on this script, I've started using it. Would it be possible to add a parameter so that the user can limit it to a particular group of articles, e.g. only articles within a certain category (or its subcategories) or within the scope of a particular wikiproject? Thanks. --Jameboy (talk) 15:32, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
